I am a business person and a problem solver, a quick study who takes a common sense approach to resolving business issues. Over the years I have learned that I can make the most difference by helping business leaders solve big problems—from disputes based on different opinions to emotionally charged conflicts.
I am a catalyst that enables parties to consider their individual perspectives, facts, options and potential consequences related to the disagreement. So they can make their best decision. I have seen the process work over and over again for small and large businesses offering software solutions, insurance, legal services, flooring, engineering services, cancer research and many others.
My early experience prepared me for this role. In university I gravitated towards business, earning first a Bachelor of Commerce and then an MBA. My early work with an international accounting and consulting company taught me how to do a deep dive into business issues. There I became a Certified Management Consultant, a designation that is governed by a code of professional conduct.
Later I was a partner in a boutique executive search firm finding good matches between candidates and information technology management positions. I found myself digging into the real needs of the client and the candidate. And clients began asking for my advice on other business matters. As a result, I started my consultancy and developed Consequential Analysis® —an approach designed to help individuals, project teams and management groups make good decisions in times of dispute, conflict or change.
Clients come to me when it’s not a matter of law or who’s right or wrong. The parties want to determine the outcome, rather than having someone else decide for them. If you are struggling with an important issue and would like to consider my services, call me at 416-410-3311 for a strictly confidential, no obligation initial discussion.
